Christen - Office Manager
Christen is a Colorado native who graduated cum laude with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. She began her career working in the Biomedical Informatics Department at the University of Pittsburgh, gaining valuable experience in a healthcare setting.
After taking time to raise her two children, Christen followed a new path into the dental field, where she enjoys connecting with patients and being part of a supportive team. She brings a thoughtful, caring approach to her work and takes pride in helping create a positive experience for those she works with.
Outside the office, Christen loves skiing, reading, dancing, playing mahjong, working out, and spending time with her family.
Kat - Lead Surgical Assistant
Kat brings over 18 years of experience in the dental field, with a strong background in assisting across all fields of dentistry, but specializes in surgical procedures. Kat is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout their dental experience.
Originally from Alabama, Kat has called Durango home for the past 13 years and has grown to love the community and the lifestyle it offers. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors—whether hiking, backpacking, or camping—and embraces creativity through art and writing in her free time.
Kat’s passion for patient care, combined with her experience and approachable personality, makes her a valued part of our team.
AJ - Surgical Assistant
AJ is a surgical assistant with eight years of dental experience, specializing in surgical procedures. She is known for her calm, compassionate approach and her ability to help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their care. AJ takes pride in supporting both her team and patients with professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to high-quality care.
Originally from Chicago, AJ has lived in Durango for the past five years and is happy to call it home. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking, yoga, and taking walks with her beloved dog, Sophie. She also values time spent with her family whenever they visit from Chicago.
Tori - Front Desk Care Coordinator
Tori was born and raised in Durango, Colorado, where she developed a strong sense of community and a passion for helping others. She is a compassionate and detail-oriented healthcare professional and excited to be learning about the dental world! Tori takes pride in creating a comfortable, supportive environment for every patient, helping them feel at ease throughout their experience.
Known for her friendly approach and strong work ethic, she is dedicated to providing high-quality care while building meaningful connections with those she serves. Outside of work, Tori loves spending time with her family and enjoys life with her five corgis, who bring constant joy and energy to her home.
